Lihium battery 100ah

Are you looking for a lithium battery with a capacity of 100Ah? Then you have come to the right place at Intercel! Here you will find a wide range of lithium batteries from reliable brands and high quality.

What is a 100Ah lithium battery?

An accumulator is not the same as a battery. The word “battery” is derived from the English word “accumulator,” or something that builds up or accumulates. So a battery can give off some form of energy as well as store it. This is in contrast to batteries. Batteries are often made for a specific device, with a unique shape and size to match.

A lithium battery has a particular chemical composition and varies in ampere-hours: or “Ah. This is a value that indicates how many amps a battery can deliver in an hour. The higher the number listed before the Ah, the more amps the battery can deliver to a device. So a 100Ah lithium battery can deliver 100 amps in an hour.

What is a 100Ah lithium battery used for?

Lithium batteries are used for a variety of devices. For example, for watches, hearing aids, electronic toys and razors, as well as bicycles, cars and cell phones. A 100Ah lithium battery can provide quite a lot of energy, and is therefore suitable for large devices. These include computers, robotics and solar panels, as well as vehicles such as mobility scooters, electric construction equipment and aerial work platforms. These 100Ah lithium batteries vary by weight: for example, you will find batteries weighing 2.05 kg, but also 14.5 kg.

What is the difference between a lithium battery and an AGM battery?

At Intercel, you can find different types of batteries and accumulators. Frequently purchased batteries include the lithium battery and the AGM battery. The abbreviation AGM stands for Absorbed Glass Mat. The AGM battery is a battery in which the battery acid is contained in woven fiberglass mats, which are located between the lead plates of the battery. In other batteries, the battery acid is usually loose in the battery.

The advantages of AGM batteries include long life, virtually no maintenance and low self-discharge. They come in different sizes and are suitable, for example, for toys or model making, and even UPS systems. An AGM battery lasts up to about 1,500 charge cycles.

A Lithium battery, on the other hand, lasts a lot more charging cycles! They have a special chemical composition and provide energy through the reaction between manganese dioxide and lithium. They also have a high energy density and limited self-discharge. As a result, lithium batteries last up to 25,000 charging cycles!
